Interprofessional practice (IPP) includes a group of individuals from different health care disciplines working and communicating with each other to enhance and support person-centered care. Rural Health Clinics and their communities face unique challenges that act as barriers to IPP.
This report provides State Offices of Rural Health and Rural Health Care Systems with information to initiate interprofessional oral health networks that integrate and coordinate person-centered oral health care in their communities.
