Support to the Mississippi Primary Health Care Association for continuation of its role in the Strengthening the Oral Health Safety Net Initiative. Unique approaches include, but are not limited to: partnering with Tennessee and Georgia PCAs to host a Tri-State Oral Health Summit; partnering with CHCs that have built referral systems as part of their Patient-Centered Medical Home efforts to include oral health referral systems; strong partnership with the Mississippi State Department of Health Oral Health Program in the promotion of oral health at the state level, and participation in the Mississippi Oral Health Coalition at both the state level and by supporting the involvement of CHCs in the regional coalitions under the statewide umbrella.
