Support to the Michigan Primary Care Association for continuation of its role in the Strengthening the Oral Health Safety Net Initiative. Unique strategies include but are not limited to: hosting a Tri-State Oral Health Integration Summit in partnership with the Illinois and Ohio PCAs; utilization of dental capacity reports developed in Year 1 to deploy targeted leadership training and support to CHC dental directors and dental programs; partnership with key stakeholders across the state, including the Michigan Oral Health Coalition to advocate for policies supporting increased funding support for oral health prevention; and collaborating with other PCAs and national partners in the Initiative to develop tools to support Quality Improvement activities in member CHCs, and the integration of oral health into Patient-Centered Medical Home efforts.
