Support to the Bi-State Primary Care Association (VT & NH) for continuation of its role in the Strengthening the Oral Health Safety Net Initiative. Unique approaches include, but are not limited to: leveraging partnerships with the VT and NH Dental Societies to build a shared understanding of the roles of CHC dental clinicians and private practice dentists in providing care for underserved patients; partnership with the VT and NH Oral Health Coalitions on key policy issues impacting the oral health safety net in both states including Medicaid reimbursement rates and Medicaid coverage for prenatal oral health care; a comprehensive education and training package for Bi-State leadership and member CHC executive leadership that includes information on successful care integration models, policies impacting oral health care delivery and care integration, and successful models of the role of PCAs in supporting integration in their memberships.
