Support to the Alaska Primary Care Association (APCA) as part of the DentaQuest Foundation Strengthening the Oral Health Safety Net Initiative to build state and local capacity o preserve and strengthen the oral health safety net that serves the healthcare needs of thousands of uninsured and underserved Alaskans. Work will focus on building leadership capacity to promote oral health care integration with primary care services, as well as address issues of oral health de3livery for safety net providers across Alaska by developing work plans that align with the priority areas of the initiatives. Participating CHC programs will be provided with actionable strategies for enhancing sustainability, increasing access to quality oral health services, and achieving financial viability. The APCA will also receive technical assistance focused on best practices to assist work at the state level to engage the CHCs in moving the oral health agenda forward, particularly in the areas of public policy, advocacy, and medical/dental integration.
