Continued support to the Arizona Dental Foundation to realize their vision of impact to support coalitions that become institutionalized collaborative infrastructure and resources for capacity building, training and technical assistance, and policy advocacy that elevate oral health as a top five health care priority among tribal governments, and enables more effective delivery systems. The tribally driven coalition structure and processes empower tribes to make effective decisions that will: 1) drive the formation of policies that increase oral health resources for Arizona American Indian communities; 2) determine how oral health care services (literacy, prevention and treatment) are provided to their tribal members; 3) result in greater IHS transparency, accountability and partnership; 4) expand community access to services (literacy, prevention and treatment), and enhance the quality, diversity, efficiency and impact of service delivery.
