Support to the Pew Charitable trusts to join an existing group of philanthropic partners to build a national base of support for Community Water Fluoridation (CWF) by developing a set of tools, resources, and a national network of advocates. Currently, no national network of CWF advocates exists or any means to share lessons from CWF victories and defeats. With a dearth of research on advocates’ efforts and little pro-CWF presence on the internet, the field faces great challenges. In 2008, Pew’s Children’s Dental Campaign began developing a national strategy to bolster critical support for CWF and close the information gap. This funding will also support a national organization to manage the ilikemyteeth.org website to address these challenges.
