The Michigan Primary Care Association will implement a multi-pronged approach to bolster oral health capacity within its member centers by using the Smiles for Life Curriculum, offering best practice training and webinars to promote medical/dental collaboration in CHCs, establishing a formal communication network and placing dental leaders on important Board committees to elevate the importance of oral health, collaboration with DentaQuest Institute Safety Net Solutions to improve member centers' operations, and promoting statewide efforts to enhance access to and quality of oral health services through collaboration with key statewide partners.
