Health Law Advocates provides an important service to the community, helping low-income Massachusetts residents gain access to health care benefits and services. HLA's advocacy efforts keep issues related to lack of access for the underserved on the forefront and have facilitated significant improvements in oral health care for low-income children enrolled in MassHealth. Their multipronged approach addresses current needs of community members by assisting individual clients while at the same time advocating for public policies that enhance oral health care access for all.
