Support to implement a plan to develop the newly formed American Indian Coalition into an institutionalized collaborative infrastructure and resource for capacity building, training and technical assistance, and policy advocacy that will elevate oral health as a health priority among tribal governments for more effective care delivery systems. The tribal-driven coalition will work to integrate oral health into community norms and culture while collaborating with existing oral health support systems across AZ to better meet the needs of American Indians. The coalition will have five regional committees corresponding to the geographic locations of Arizona's 22 tribes and by the end of two years, will have a fully developed infrastructure to take on programmatic action driven by the tribes and supported by key stakeholders throughout the state.
