Support is to implement and evaluate the Smile Partners, an oral health demonstration project with the aim of reducing gaps in the care delivery system that affect the oral health of highly vulnerable immigrant and refugee populations in Portland, ME. The project seeks to ensure that immigrants and refugees have access to a dental home, oral health assessments, oral health literacy education, culturally tailored oral health self care teaching and nutrition education.
