Continued funding supports this coalition as it works to implement the 2009 Massachusetts Oral Health Plan. The Coalition has worked to develop trust and effective leadership during its formation and filed as a 501 (c)3 nonprofit in 2011. Four standing committees are guiding members in fulfilling specific aspects of the plan: establishing statewide assessment and surveillance mechanisms, advocating for effective policies to promote optimal oral health, increasing access to prevention and treatment, and ensuring availability of a qualified workforce.
