Funding supports implementation of the Early Childhood Carries (ECC) disease management protocol at 7 practice sites across the U.S., engaging a larger population of providers in the replication of a successful evidence-based approach. The ECC Collaborative aims to demonstrate that combining proven principles of disease management with a clear protocol improves oral health outcomes and supports standard measures for oral health quality improvement. This grant also provides resources or infrastructure to support QI initiatives in dental programs.
