Through a coordinated approach, the Arizona Association of Community Health Centers (AACHC) will promote oral health within the Primary Care Association and FQHCs by utilizing established dental and medical peer networking committees to focus on oral health integration; developing a toolkit for FQHC ancillary staff on the importance of oral health; addressing CHC oral health training and technical assistance needs; focusing on and promoting oral health integration in meetings and trainings; convening stakeholders to identify advocacy approaches and collaboration opportunities; and working with DentaQuest Institute and the National Association of Community Health Centers to promote strategies for operational improvement. AACHC has a strong network of collaborative partners which will help to position the PCA as a regional thought leader.
