Funding supports a partnership between the ASTDD and the Medicaid/SCHIP Dental Association (MSDA) to create alignment between state Medicaid and Chip services and dental public health. The end result of this initiative will be a transferrable model to support states as they work to increase awareness of the need for collaboration, assess areas for improvement, create motivation and commitment to achieving improvement, and provide an implementation plan with identified concrete steps.
