This grant supports the Arizona Association of Community Health Centers work in planning and implementing a Region IX Conference entitled, "Healthcare Integration: A Pathway to Better Health." The presence of oral health in this Region IX conference is a tangible result of the Strengthening the Oral Health Safety Net Initiative and the first time that oral health is playing a major role in the conference. With over 175 clinical and administrative leaders from health centers and PCAs throughout Region IX states, there is an opportunity for broad oral health impact and promote access to culturally appropriate dental care in the region.
