This funding continues to support the Hispanic Dental Association (HDA) as it strengthens leadership capacity at the local and national level. Developing leadership capacity at HDA will impact the delivery system that promotes culturally and linguistically competent, quality oral health care delivery to underserved Latino populations. Through past funding, HDA developed its membership’s capacity to promote awareness of the oral health needs of the Latino population and convened a national meeting that attracted a wide range of influential policy makers and leadership of other dental organizations.
