Continued support for the Hillsborough County Oral Health Coalition is focused on broadening the reach of an awareness campaign and identify community-based oral health solutions. By specifically targeting medical providers to engage with the Coalition, HCOHC is working to increase access to care and prevention for preschool-aged children through referral connections. HCOHC has been successful at mobilizing broad-based membership and increasing engagement of community stakeholders in promoting consistent oral health messaging for county solutions, such as the implementation of water fluoridation in Plant City. HCOHC has increased collaboration at both county and state levels and is an instrumental partner in the state coalition, and the newly established Oral Health Leadership Council.
