Continued funding for Grantmakers in Health (GIH) to increase allocation of philanthropic resources for prevention and treatment to improve the oral health status of the underserved. Past funding strengthened GIH’s capacity to effectively convene health funders around oral health issues and expanded the number of funders engaged in oral health. Additional funding is included in this request to support a one-day Issue Dialogue for funders focused exclusively on oral health. The Issue Dialogue will bring together stakeholders from diverse sectors including government, philanthropy, and public health, to provide the opportunity for attendees to learn more about current oral health issues and examine strategies for potential solutions.
