This grant will support continued expansion of this highly effective coalition to enhance access to dental care for children with disabilities and special health care needs on Cape Cod and the Islands and will impact the systems of DQF interest, care and community. OHEC has been successful in increasing access to oral health services for underserved children and adults throughout Barnstable, Dukes, and Nantucket counties through engagement of the provider community with a wide range of health advocates and establishment of a safety net care network across the region. The Coalition will now focus on expanding their efforts to increase access for people with developmental disabilities.
