The North Florida Medical Center will establish a county-wide school-based sealant program in 20 schools and provide oral health education, dental exams, and application of sealants and fluoride to 2nd grade children in Okaloosa County. The program is working to increase the level of knowledge about oral health of 2nd grade students, increase access to preventive services, increase involvement of dental partners for referrals.
