The Oral Health Affairs Manager position has become an integral part of support and TA provided to community health centers by the MassLeague. The Manager provided training to dental directors and CHC executives to enhance leadership skills, promote financial management and accountability, identify strategies for integrating oral health in the overall planning and management of their organizations, establishing a voice for oral health safety net in policy circles and leading collaborative communications. With continued funding, MassLeague will work to ensure adequate oral health staffing and improved retention, promote best practices in financial management and accountability, improve quality and efficiency of care, develop technical assistance strategies for technology and information systems and work to increase the number of sites providing dental care services.
