HCFA is working to expand the stakeholder group of oral health advocates to include groups most affected by dental disease -- elders, racial and ethnic minorities-- and engage them as active spokespeople for their communities. HCFA will leverage organizational and staff expertise to reach out to these populations with well-framed information about the importance of oral health and well being to their group. The outreach will build a mobilized constituency ready to speak up for oral health during times of financial and political uncertainty.
