Support to the Oregon Oral Health Coalition to implement a plan to integrate oral health into its coordinated health care system in ways that are comprehensive, ensure continuity throughout the lifespan, are coordinated with other health care delivery, and emphasize prevention and management of oral diseases within a chronic disease model. Outcomes will include coordinated care organizations participating in a train-the-trainer approach in collaboration with the Coalition to provide oral health training to non-dental providers, establishing data for key outcome measures, including the provision of fluoride varnish, in the Oregon Oral Health Surveillance System, consistent messaging, anticipatory guidance, and implementation of evidence-based practices for early childhood carries prevention statewide, and coordinated care organization global budgets are identified and implemented.
