Support to Sarrell Regional Dental Center to continue to refine an algorithm that will help clinics identify and address key indicators as to why approximately 24% of patients miss their appointments without prior cancellation or notification. Sarrell has successfully created statistical prototype model that identifies key variables and past behavioral factors that increase the probability of missed patient appointments. This project will further refine the model and develop a fully operable software/web application that will allow clinical personnel to more efficiently schedule patient appointments. The proposed software platform will allow clinics to book more efficiently and reduce financial losses while increasing patient satisfaction and access to care.
