Support to the Georgia Dental Association Foundation for Oral Health (the Foundation) for the Georgia Mission of Mercy (GMOM) event on June 14-15, 2013 at the North Atlanta Trade Center in Norcross, GA. The GMOM will increase awareness of the burden of dental disease among the underserved in Georgia and serve as a means to engage key public policy makers to illustrate the need to appropriately allocate limited Medicaid dollars where they can be most effective. The event will bring together patients, policymakers, and health care professionals to work together to meet immediate dental needs and raise awareness of the increasing difficulty patients with limited financial resources face in their attempts to access critical oral health care services.
