Continued support to New York University College of Nursing at the College of Dentistry to expand external oral health stakeholder engagement, advancing policy changes related to preparation and credentialing of NPs and CNMs, completion of a replicable national curriculum model and manual for graduate nursing programs that prepare NPs and CNMs as primary care providers, completion of a replicable national "best practice" model for integrating interprofessional oral health competencies for primary care providers in advanced practice nurse primary care settings. This award will also focus on expanding dissemination strategies to include not only publications, presentations, use of electronic social network media, but a Technical Assistance Resource Center that will capitalize on using the OHNEP and national network of oral health experts/champions to provide technical assistance to programs and organizations nationwide whose objective it is to develop and launch an interprofessional oral health initiative.
