This investment, through the Executive Director’s Fund, supports Eva Grayzel’s plenary session at the National Network for Oral Health Access annual conference, held virtually and in-person November 14 through November 17, 2021. The NNOHA annual conference aims to bring together community health dental professionals to experience continuing education opportunities, network, and discuss current issues and topics in oral health. Eva Grayzel is a storyteller and visionary oral cancer survivor. She speaks about the importance of oral cancer screenings in order to raise public awareness about early signs of oral cancer, inspire oral health professionals to diagnose oral cancer in early stages, motivate dental professionals to perform thorough screenings, promote patient education, and provide guidance, support, and hope to newly diagnosed patients. The budget of $1,000 will support Eva Grayzel’s plenary session during the conference.
