CESC or Connecting Everyone with Second Chances, based in Northwest FL, operates a homeless shelter with a dental clinic. They provide dental services for over 3,500 residents every year, in addition to emergency shelter and other health services. They serve an 8-county area, and all but one county are designated rural. This investment supports purchasing new and replacement equipment pieces and repair costs to serve the expanded needs of patients at the homeless shelter. These equipment pieces are necessary to provide preventative and routine services to shelter residents. The needs of these patients have risen over the past year due to the pandemic. This funding of $12,607 would go directly to the equipment and repair costs.
