This funding is to support Primary Care Progress’ annual Leadership Summit, to be held virtually August 15-16, 2020, bringing together faculty and student leaders to promote interprofessional practice and person-centered care. This is the Student Action Network’s signature training event for a year-long program that offers leadership development, one-on-one coaching, and community building. The PCP Action Network is designed to offer comprehensive, relational skills required for the next generation of healthcare professionals to excel in today's rapidly changing, team-based healthcare system. Students represent diverse healthcare disciplines including Medicine and Pharmacy to Social Work. There is no cost to students participating in the program.
