This investment supports Rhode Island Kids Count to continue to provide robust oral health resources and education to key stakeholders in the state around promoting early childhood dental visits and protecting and expanding oral health coverage. Specifically, Rhode Island Kids Count will maintain and develop new content as part of its TeethFirst campaign, engaging families, dental and medical providers, and school stakeholders to promote the importance of early dental visits. $40,000 will be used to support staff and consultant time necessary for the work's implementation. This work most closely aligns with the Oral Health 2020 Goal of Improving the Public Perception of Value of Oral Health to Overall Health.
