The purpose of this grant is to support Families USA in its efforts to increase awareness among key state and national health care, including oral health, stakeholders by developing shared learning and networking opportunities for vested parties in conjunction with the 2019 Health Action Conference. Specifically, Families USA will continue to integrate oral health into its existing communications and networking infrastructure. In early 2019, Families USA will host and convene a pre-conference session during its Health Action 2019 Conference designed to engage key oral health and health care stakeholders around current health topics, best practices, and recent policy developments. In addition, issues related to oral health were woven throughout the full conference. $100,000 will support personnel time necessary for convening design and execution, meeting space, and staff travel.
