Texas: This investment supports the Texas Oral Health Coalition's annual Oral Health Summit on November 6 - 8, 2014, the theme is "Interprofessional Collaboration for Collective Impact, which will draw 125 - 150 attendees from across the state of Texas. It is the Coalition's belief that Interprofessional understanding and collaboration will achieve better health for Texas citizens throughout their lifespan. Registration fees and sponsorships will fund most of the cost and they are looking for financial assistance to cover 17.6% of the summit which includes Speaker's fees and audio equipment. Grant funds will help the Coalition's strategy to change perceptions regarding oral health and disease so that oral health becomes an integral component of health policies and programs in Texas.
