This investment supports a transitional plan for Washington State Smile Partners, which serves 5,000 - 6,000 low-income children in 30 elementary and 45 pre-schools with its portable, preventative hygiene program in several communities in Washington state. Due to environmental conditions, there is a lack of space in participating schools for the next academic year. A grant of $10,000 supports Washington State Smile Partners to continue to provide care as new facilities are identified. Grant funds provided through the Community Response Fund to address an urgent community need and protect access to care for an underserved population.
