This award supports graduates from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine in the fields of dental public health, geriatric dentistry, and community-focused general practice dental residents. The dental public health residency graduated 9 students. Since there is no formal ceremony for graduate students, this award is used to defray some of the costs for a graduation ceremony that highlights the accomplishments of the program, which aligns with the President's Fund focus on the engagement of the next generation of oral health providers.
