This investment supports the National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) to leverage its role as a national advocate for safety-net dental programs and provide resources and tools for PCAs and health centers through the National Oral Health Innovation and Integration Network (NOHIIN). Specifically, NNOHA will produce webinars and other trainings for NOHIIN PCA and health centers' oral health personnel in collaboration with NOHIIN; help to plan and coordinate the NOHIIN convening at the NNOHA Annual Conference; and assist NOHIIN PCAs and health centers in accessing NNOHA products and resources and provide ongoing technical assistance as needed. NNOHA has been a partner of the DentaQuest Foundation beginning in 2011 through the Strengthening the Oral Health Safety Net Initiative. As a national partner, NNOHA provides supporting resources and tools that promote the importance of oral health in both PCAs and health centers. $67,110 will be used to support personnel time necessary to attend NOHIIN convenings and participate on an ongoing basis in planning and develop for NOHIIN activities; meeting costs associated with the NOHIIN convening held in conjunction with the annual NNOHA meeting; and other administrative costs needed for the project's implementation. This proposal aligns with the OH2020 goal of integrating oral health into person-centered care and the target that by 2020, oral health is integrated into 50% of emerging person-centered care models.
