This investment supports MSDA as it expands and adds value to the National Profile of State Medicaid and CHIP Oral Health Programs by including and interfacing with the DentaQuest Institute's (DQI) State Medicaid data reports.Specifically, MSDA will establish a plan to update, upgrade, and enhance the MSDA National Profile of State Medicaid and CHIP Oral Health Programs in partnership with the DQI. $81,400 will be used to support personnel and consultant time necessary for the work's implementation. This information will support the Oral Health 2020 goal of mandatory inclusion of an adult dental benefit in publicly funded health insurance and the specific target that at least 30 states have a comprehensive Medicaid adult dental benefit.
