This investment provides support to the New Hampshire Public Health Association/New Hampshire Oral Health Coalition (NHOHC) to continue to expand, strengthen, and collaboratively advance the New Hampshire Oral Health Network through network building activities, establishment of network identity, and utilization of evidence-based, equity-grounded techniques to improve public perception of the value of oral health. Specifically, NHOHC will identify and engage additional stakeholders and expand the NH OH Network through increased engagement of interested consumers, stakeholders, providers, program managers, educators, policy-makers and others at the local, state, regional and national level; develop and implement multidisciplinary continuing education opportunities within Forums, Summits, and other convening events; increase stakeholder, provider, program manager, and policy-maker knowledge and skills relating to evidence-based messaging, advocacy, policy and program development; and provide ongoing technical assistance and support to network members related to health equity and reducing health disparities. This strengthened Network will work collectively to improve public perception of the value of oral health within overall health and the target that oral health is increasingly included in health dialogue and public policy. $103,868 will be used to support personnel time, meeting expenses, and other administrative costs associated with the project's implementation.
