Texas: This investment supports the Texas Health Institute (THI) to build a state-wide report that will provide a portrait of oral health landscape in Texas. This report will include data on oral health and public health indicators and a review of scientific literature defining the importance of oral health and its implications for overall health and well-being. It will serve as a resource for advocates, policymakers, legislators, and stakeholders at the state and local levels, raising collective awareness of oral health issues facing certain regions and population groups in the state. $24,552 will be used to support personnel time needed to support the implementation of this work.
