Pennsylvania: Community Response Fund support of $6,300 will replace equipment has unexpectedly broken at Health Link Dental Clinic. This urgent request is to replacement UltraClave Automatic Sterilizer to ensure quality and timely access to care for low-income adults in Bucks and Montgomery Counties in the Philadelphia suburbs. Last year, Health Link Dental Clinic provided free dental care to 1,779 underserved adults at 2,662 appointments. All on-site services are provided at no-cost and range from cleanings and x-rays to extractions, fillings, root canals, and crowns. HealthLink eliminates this financial barrier by providing these underserved adult residents, and their patient population reflects the diversity of the community. Approximately half are Spanish speaking, and at least six other languages are spoken in addition to English.
