California: As a community-based nonprofit organization, Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County (Healthy Smiles) is dedicated to empowering all children to lead healthy and happy lives. To realize this vision, their mission is to reduce oral disease in children through collaborative programs aimed at prevention, education, treatment, and advocacy. Healthy Smiles holds an annual fundraising event, Smiles Golf Tournament, to raise money for the many dental services they provide. Proceeds raised from this year's event will including program funding for screenings, education, dental care, general sedation, and teledentistry. This Executive Director's Fund grant will provide a sponsorship to this important annual event.
