Arizona: Oral Health 2020 support in the amount of $12,000 to continue activities begun as part of the Arizona Oral Health Coalition. The Coalition has developed and continues to refine its goals and strategies to 1) advance a targeted response to address oral health needs in the State, and 2) to ensure that all communities are represented in a state-wide plan. This project works in tandem with another project to ensure oral health is fully integrated into primary health care as a fully developed system of care. The requested funds will allow AACHC staff to continue activities that engage stakeholders, especially grassroots organizations and policy makers, but also primary care providers as the Coalition moves forward on its goals and objectives as proposed in the 2015-2016 work plan as submitted to the Foundation. AACHC continues to work with DQF program staff to ensure that progress is being made on the work plan and any adjustments are made as needed.
