Since the passing of the Affordable Care Act and the expansion of Medi-Cal coverage to previously uninsured individuals, the Sacramento region has been inundated with newly eligible patients, approximately 130,000, seeking to establish with a primary dental home. As a community health center, Sacramento Native American Health Center is committed to carrying all the necessary health services patients seek. SNAHC is requesting $26,230 from the Community Response Fund to replace worn handsets equipment for their dental clinic. This funding will replace a majority of the health center’s aging equipment that needs to be retired from circulation.
