The American Network of Oral Health Coalitions (ANOHC) is the national network of state oral health coalitions. ANOHC is planning the sixth annual meeting April 17-18, in conjunction with the National Oral Health Conference. Each year, the network of oral health coalition grows, and following last year’s meeting, the membership grew from 39 to 43 states. At this annual gathering, participants learn more about Medicaid adult dental benefits and about the role oral health advocates can play in crises such as the Flint water crisis. A central role of this gathering is to discuss how/why the coalitions are key players in state and regional organizing to develop and promote plans to address the Oral Health 2020 goals. The ANOHC Board of Directors respectfully asks the DentaQuest Foundation to consider sponsoring this event in the amount of $6,700 to pay for food and beverage, audio-visual rental, exhibitor fees, exhibit and brochure printing, and meeting planning fees charged by NOHC.
