Maine: Support to the state’s Primary Care Associations (PCAs) as a part of the National Oral Health Innovation and Integration Network (NOHIIN). This learning collaborative aims to unify and empower a national network of Primary Care Associations (PCAs) and safety net providers that have formed around a shared vision of a person-centered safety net delivery system that accounts for total patient health. NOHIIN will continue to enable PCAs to access relationships, resources and training tools needed to support their community health centers (CHCs) for the creation of an innovative, equitable safety net healthcare system where oral health is an integrated, critical component of person-centered, comprehensive healthcare. NOHIIN will spread a unified message— to PCAs, community health centers, policy makers, stakeholders and the community in general— about the importance of oral health to overall through within the safety net delivery system. The learning collaborative model implemented by NOHIIN will continue to support and resource the participating 21 PCAs, and will ultimately integrate all 50 states. The NOHIIN participating PCAs include: Community Health Center Association of Connecticut, Community Health Care Association of the Dakotas, Florida Association of Community Health Centers, Indiana Primary Health Care Association, Kentucky Primary Care Association, Louisiana Primary Care Association, Maine Primary Care Association, Missouri Primary Care Association, Montana Primary Care Association, New Jersey Primary Care Association, Rhode Island Health Center Association, District of Columbia Primary Care Association, Oklahoma Primary Care Association, Virginia Community Healthcare Association, Colorado Community Health Network, Texas Association of Community Health Centers, Wisconsin Primary Healthcare Association, Health Center Association of Nebraska, Idaho Primary Care Association, Mid-Atlantic Association of Community Health Centers, and South Carolina Primary Health Care Association.
