Support to the Santa Fe Group in the amount of $30,000 to be used for the partial support of the SFG Fellow for the period of January 1, 2016, to December 31, 2016. The amount requested will be matched by an equal amount from the SFG to support the Fellow. The main deliverables will be (1) the preparation of a “white paper” that will serve as a major briefing and background document to inform the (2) national convening to be hosted by the SFG on September 29 and 30, 2016, in Washington, DC. The SFG Fellow will play a key role in the creation of the “white paper,” work closely with SFG Members in the planning and organizing of the conference and contribute to the preparation of the conference summary, refinement of the white paper and follow-up agenda. The theme of the conference will be on enhancing access to oral health care for older Americans, including expanding dental benefits in Medicare and other public and private insurance benefits programs.
