This grant of $24,000 will directly address Dientes Community Dental Care's patient needs by improving effectiveness, efficiency and capacity through the purchase of three (3) x-ray sensors (two (2) adult-sized and one (1) pediatric-sized). As they continue to provide dental services for a growing number of low-income neighbors with the recent expansion of DentiCal, the purchase of adequate equipment is vital to their success, and to ensure continuous oral health care access, quality, and affordability. Dientes Community Dental Care’s clinic is located in Santa Cruz, California, where they provide over 30,000 dental visits per year to 10,000 people.
