National: Support to Physician Assistant Education Association to continue the Physician Assistant Leadership Initaitive in Oral Health, a national effort that works to expand the role of physician assistants in oral health improvement. The intiative will continue to support the role of PAs in the oral health of the patients they serve by innovating in both the education and practice settings. The work aligns with the systems change goal of integrating oral health into all aspects of healthcare. The Oral Health 2020 Environmental Support of Interprofessional Education and Coordinated Care is moved forward through the care provider engagement driver by this work. $245,500 will support staff time associated with coordinating and implementing the multiple outreach efforts of the Initiative, and an annual convening.
