Rhode Island: Support to Rhode Island Kids Count (RIKC) to build off of an initially successful campaign, Teeth First!, continuing to expand the breadth and depth of the effort to increase both the demand for oral health care and prevention for young children in the sate, while also improving the engagement of providers and social services in the delivery of that care and prevention. This proposal aligns with the Oral Health 2020 Target that 75% of children reach age 5 without a cavity, and supports the drivers of care provider engagement, family engagement, and empowered/engaged community. $150,800 will be used to support staff time, educational materials, and consultants associated with the implementation of the Teeth First! Campaign.
