"At the end of National Minority Health Month, we must recognize the need to dismantle the systemic barriers to care for pregnant people of color. Americans must recognize the importance of providing comprehensive care to all. We can save lives if we ensure access to care before, during, and after pregnancy. But for far too many families, affordable coverage, especially postpartum coverage, is simply not available."
